Persistent Physical Symptoms Service (PPSS)

Provide evidence based interventions to patients with persistent symptoms of longer than 6 months, rather than due to any underlying pathology which includes chronic pain, Chronic fatigue syndrome, functional neurological disorders and medically unexplained symptoms.

Adults over 18, with persistent physical symptoms.

Cumbria Community Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team

Community inter-disciplinary team providing time-limited rehabilitation to adults,aged 16 and over following acquired brain injury (ABI.)

Day Services

Outpatients clinics and 24 hour Blood Pressure and ECG monitoring.

Outpatients requiring day hospital facilities.

Early Supported Stroke Discharge Team

Work with people who have had a stroke, family and carers, to help ensure a smooth, supported, early transition from hospital to the individual’s preferred community home environment.

People being discharged from hospital following a stroke who can transfer from chair to chair independently or with assistance of one family member/carer.

Eden Community Response Team (ECRT)

Provide rapid multi-disciplinary intervention with the aim of preventing hospital admission.

Individuals identified as above.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MSK)

Ccomprehensive orthopaedic assessment, treatment and advice on management of musculoskeletal conditions.
